What information should appear on the separate letter coming along with my application? More
Pursuant to Article 8 of the Rules, the name of the participants or any other personal information shall be left out of the pdf and paper versions of their work. Participants shall send a separate letter mentioning their name, date of birth, nationality, full address and any other information deemed necessary.
- Can I participate in the competition even though my thesis has been published, if I modify/rewrite/translate it?More

No you cannot. Pursuant to Article 8 of the Rules, thesis submitted shall be unpublished.
- Is it mandatory that I provide the ICC Institute with a pdf version of my work? More

Yes it is. Pursuant to Article 8 of the Rules, participants shall send a pdf version of their work, in addition to the two paper versions required. Remember to leave out your name and any personal information from these pdf and paper versions. (You should also consider erasing your thanks at the beginning/end of your work; they might refer to professors or other people whose names might give graders indications on your identity).
- What legal field should my work be on? More

Pursuant to Article 1 of the Rules, the Prize is designed to award excellent legal research and writing in the field of international commercial law, including arbitration.
- Is there a deadline for submission of my work? More

Works shall be sent to the Secretariat of the ICC Institute no later than 1 July of the year of the competition (works must be postmarked by 1 July of that year).
- Are co-written works accepted? More

Yes, co-written works will be accepted provided that all the authors have expressly agreed to participate in the competition, pursuant to Article 5 of the Rules.
