Work with IGOs

Since the late 1940's, ICC has engaged in a broad range of activities with the United Nations, the World Trade Organization and many other intergovernmental bodies.

ICC actively represents business at global conferences such as the Conference on Financing for Development, the World Summit on Sustainable Development and the World Summit on the Information Society.

Over the years, ICC has been actively involved in the work of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the UN Commission on International Trade Law, the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the UN Commission for Social Development, the UN Commission on Sustainable Development, the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Economic Commission for Europe, the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the UN Information and Communication Task Force, the UN World Aids Campaign, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), among others.
