WCF's key focus for the exchange of best practice and experience between chamber executives are through the World Chambers Congress and the World Chambers Competition. The World Chambers Congress gives chambers an opportunity to share best practices and learn from their counterparts some of the important tools needed to successfully manage and run a chamber of commerce. These tools and lessons learned allow chamber managers to better contribute in building long-lasting service for their members, which will help support the growth of a functional domestic private sector.
WCF works with individual chambers and partners in establishing programs on executive development tailored to the specific business needs of the chamber.
As part of their professional development chamber personnel regularly participate in ICC Events. ICC experts travel the world to stage seminars and courses on subjects in which ICC has unique expertise. These include Incoterms, the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits and ICC arbitration.
